What's been done
Designed the rhyme search app for iOS and Android from scratch, created a foundational design system. Later the web version has been also added. According to users feedback some important changes were implemented.
Context
After researching the market, my team and I came to the conclusion that there was a lack of a convenient rhyme search app with support for the Ukrainian language. Initially, it was an experiment to create an app for our own needs (writing song lyrics), but the app received positive user feedback and is quite popular in stores.
Insights & Conclusions
An interesting observation was that users find word stress very important, and search is more accurate when the words are stressed. We didn't take this into account during the initial launch, but we implemented this change in the next iteration and got rave reviews.
